arkansas wedding photographer tumbling shoals greers ferry heber springs northeast ozarks lakeside lake outdoors ceremonypinimageGeorgia and David had a beautiful, albeit very hot, Greers ferry Lake outdoor wedding in Arkansas. Driving from Jonesboro into the Ozarks had me reminiscing about beautiful hardwood forests and swimming in crystal-clear lakes and creeks. These two high school sweethearts knew the perfect place to celebrate their love. As a wedding photographer, Tumbling Shoals was idyllic. Their wedding was full of love and celebrated with, to quote Georgia, people who “know how to party.”

“Georgia, Georgia
A song of you
Comes as sweet and clear
As moonlight through the pines

Other arms reach out to me
Other eyes smile tenderly
Still in peaceful dreams I see
The road leads back to you…”

As a Hot Springs, Arkansas wedding photographer who graduated from the University of Texas, I was so very excited to photograph Lauren and Jason’s outdoor wedding in Austin, Texas. It was a beautiful outdoor ceremony at Hummingbird House, with a reception catered by Pok-E-Joe’s BBQ, delicious tres leches cake made by Jesus Suarez, flowers by Wild Bunches and C4 DJ getting everyone out on the dance floor. Lauren had her hair and makeup done by Kristan at Sonar Beauty. Because I know you’ll have to know, her gorgeous dress is from Beholden.

See (and download) the rest of the wedding photos here. Hope y’all love them as much as I do.
If you can’t get enough, check out their DeGray Lake engagement photos here.

I’m hesitant to state the already obvious, but Lauren and Jason like to have fun. They aren’t afraid to be completely covered in the Holi powder, and Lauren apparently isn’t afraid of being lifted 7 feet into the air for their DeGray Lake engagement photos. They say trust is one of the most important parts of a relationship, right? Believe it or not, Jason is my little brother, and I can’t wait until their wedding in Austin this November. We had fun at their DeGray Lake engagement session near Hot Springs and Arkadelphia, Arkansas. Thanks, guys!
